Turn Off Suspect Devices

Computer? Unplug the network cable and/or unplug the modem, and turn Wi-Fi off
Smart Phone or Tablet? Put it into flight mode and turn Wi-Fi off


Alert your employer/IT provider immediately

Even if it's not a work device or account that's been compromised, the digital world is uber connected


Call Your Bank

Request a temporary freeze of your personal accounts


Notify Your Family and Friends

They should be wary of any messages or emails they receive from 'you'


Contact Your Local Police

There is nothing to be embarrassed about!
